Kourambiedes appear to have their origins in 7th century Persia, which is now known as Iran. Kourambiedes are made with a variety of flavors (ouzo, mastiha, orange, or cognac), and they are especially popular for weddings, baptisms, Christmas, or other special occasions. They are white, and are sometimes called by their nickname, “The Celebration Cookie.”  Ambro-Sia’s Kourambiedes are a blend of flavors, and are made with the best ingredients. Her special combination of flavors and method of preparation make Ambro-Sia’s kourambiedes an ambrosial, scrumptious, and incredible treat for yourself, your family, your guests, or as a special gift!
